It is funny that this email came today wondering when was the last time i made an impact on someone's life... let me share something with you, Pearl....

I recently received a stand to hold my wisdom cards, which it is sitting on my computer table as i write, ... anyway, the quote sent with the stand was my favorite about courage being trying again tomorrow... i was asked today to visit someone who has recently begun the long hard road to recovery and has fallen off the wagon and is back in the hospital, as the years of abuse have severely damaged her heart ... as i was getting my purse i saw my favorite quote on the beautiful shiny paper and thought it needed a new home... to brighten another soul.... the visit went well, although i was totally soaked, and the lovely lady asked some difficult questions and we spoke in some hard facts about lifelong diseases and choices to be made ... as i was leaving i took the card out of my purse, hugged her and told her it was one of my favorites and i wanted her to have it ... i hoped she would put it in a book or somewhere close and take it out for encouragement... so, Pearl.. you have impacted another soul today, and i thank you for it

This is response to Joanne M on June 24, 09. Really? You have time to search the internet for quotes that are specific to the people that are relevent to you? You have the ability to put them in an artistic presentation and remember to mail them each month. I suspect the people you care about are not receiving so much unexpected attention in the mail. I have found the wisdom vitamins something that comes when I need it. It presents me with a quote and I make time to reflect and maybe, just maybe, change something about myself or validate that what I do is in line with the universe. What a pity you deny yourself. You should sign up for a subscription on love and kindness.

Hi Wisdom Vitamins - you have some good quotes, but why would I bother with the expense of a subscription service when I can go on the internet and get the same quotes and more for free? I mean, after-all we are in a recession.

When I found out that the girl I was dating had a 13 year old, I was....worried. I met the boy and while he's got a giant heart, HE'S 13!! I have no experience raising a child, let alone a teenager.
